Early Public draft

Terms of use

These are plain-language Early Public draft terms, not a substitute for formal legal review.

Use your own evidence

Upload receipts you made or are entitled to hold. Do not use Cost of Life to upload other people's receipts, seek another person's account data, or interfere with the service.

What the service does today

Cost of Life turns your receipt into a private, readable purchase record and personal price history. Receipt parsing can be wrong, incomplete, or unavailable, and a receipt should remain your source evidence.

No contribution is required

Early Public does not publish receipt-derived observations or provide community price data. When deleting an account, you may explicitly choose to retain de-linked price observations internally; that choice does not publish them or create community access.

Early Public

Cost of Life is being tested and may change as the product is improved. You can export your account data or delete your account from Settings, including the retention choice described above. For questions or to report a problem, email support.
